Working through touch, movement, and attention, the body is supported in settling and reorganizing, creating more ease, steadier regulation, and a deeper sense of awareness and understanding.

 
 
 
 
 

Each session begins with orientation - a focused conversation about what you’ve been navigating and how it is showing up in your body.

From there, the work responds to what is present in real time.

Sessions may include:

  • Hands-on touch and/or bodywork

  • Guided awareness practices

  • Gentle inquiry and therapeutic dialogue

  • Assisted movement or stillness, depending on what is needed that day.

There is no rigid formula.

Pressure, pacing, and direction adjust to what your system can receive. The emphasis is not on intensity, but on building capacity, supporting steadier regulation, improved mobility, and less habitual holding.

 

This work is for people who are curious about themselves.

You may already have some relationship with your body through movement, therapy, caregiving, professional responsibility, or simply life experience, and you want to understand yourself more deeply from the inside out.

Sessions are not about fixing or digging for what’s wrong. They are about building awareness and capacity.

Over time, you begin to notice how your patterns take shape in the body - how effort is held, how habits organize, and how your internal experience influences the way you move and respond.

From there, choice becomes available.

The atmosphere is grounded but not heavy. Focused, but not severe. There is room for ease, humor, and discovery.

All new clients are asked to complete a brief questionnaire prior to scheduling to ensure alignment.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Private Somathai™ sessions are hands-on, floor-based bodywork that combine rhythmic pressure, assisted movement, and supported stretching to help the body settle, release tension, and move with more ease.

You remain fully clothed. The work is paced to what your body can receive, with space for both stillness and movement.

These sessions support:

  • Structural ease and range of motion

  • Soothing and reorganizing habitual tension

  • A more coherent sense of how you move and hold yourself

  • A deeper, kinder relationship with your own body

Somatic Therapy centers the body as an ally and guide.

Rather than focusing only on thoughts, this work explores how sensation, posture, movement, and internal experience carry information about how you organize your life and respond to the world.

Through present-moment awareness, guided inquiry, and touch when appropriate, you develop:

  • More comfort being with your own internal experience

  • Greater capacity to notice and shift patterns of holding and bracing

  • A clearer sense of choice in how you respond to stress and emotion

  • A more integrated connection between body, mind, and behavior

Payment is due at the time of booking. Packages and gift certificates are not offered.

Sessions require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations and missed sessions are charged in full.
