Advanced Thai Yoga Massage workshop at THAI BROOKLYN Studios, led by Thai Yoga Master, David Roma.

In this workshop, David will guide students in offering Traditional Thai Massage with more advanced awareness and enhanced techniques. The goal is to deepen our understanding of body awareness and how to apply techniques more precisely by building on the sensitivity in our feet, knees and elbows. Additionally, David will share with us his secrets for integrating and adjusting poses more smoothly into sequences through flowing transitions.

David has designed this advanced course to assist current Thai Yoga Massage practitioners in elevating their offerings by focusing on correct posture and body mechanics, precise energy line work, advanced techniques and stretches, and ease in transitions. This is a great way for practitioners to learn how to use their bodies in the most effective way while using the least amount of effort.

About David Roma

David Roma first discovered Traditional Thai Massage while on assignment in Bangkok, piloting a private jet for a prominent communications company in the mid 1990s.

David fell in love with the practice and went on to study with some of the most prominent teachers and schools of traditional Thai Massage such as Loi Kroh, Koji Hiroshige, Jongrak Intatha, Noam Tyroler, Arno Lhemitte, David Lutt, Wat Po Temple, ITM Chiang Mai, Pichest Boonthume, and Sunshine School of Massage.

David has since crafted his own unique style of offering Thai Yoga - incorporating supportive body mechanics, efficiency of energy, and the art of the slow flow. David is also a Nationally Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, a member of AMTA and the Thai Healing Alliance, a Certified Yoga Instructor and an Instructor at the Sunshine School of Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
