One of the most special healing modalities to come from Northern Thailand - herbal compress therapy dates back nearly 5,000 years. Luk Pra Kob, as it is called in Thailand, translates as “herbal pressing sphere.” Crafted according to tradition, a combination of 15 different healing herbs are bundled together. When steamed and placed directly on the skin, the compresses work to soothe muscular aches and swelling.

Compresses can be steamed on the stovetop or soaked and warmed in the microwave. Press into sore muscles to ease pain, tension, and swelling. Also excellent for treating menstrual cramps and for use in postpartum care.
